🧾 Shopify Developer Note: Project Completion
Client: snishee.com
Project: WooCommerce to Shopify Migration
Budget: ₹8,000 INR
Status: ✅ Completed & Launched
🎯 Objective
Seamlessly migrate SNISHEE’s existing WooCommerce storefront to a fully operational Shopify store—while adhering to a strict micro-budget of ₹8,000. The goal: deliver a minimal yet functional direct-to-consumer experience that’s easier to manage and scale.
🛠 What We Did (Yes, Within ₹8K)
-
Product Migration
Exported up to 50 products (including variants) from WooCommerce. Cleaned and structured product data to match Shopify’s CSV format. Successfully imported into the Shopify backend, including image references and basic SEO fields. -
Theme Setup
Deployed a free Shopify theme (Dawn) and customized it with SNISHEE’s brand colors and logo. Set up homepage banner, featured collections, and brand intro section. -
Navigation & Pages
Created primary navigation (Home, Shop, About, Contact), footer menu with policy pages. Pages were written using Shopify boilerplates and edited lightly for brand tone. -
Shipping & Payments
Configured flat-rate domestic shipping and set up Razorpay gateway for a quick go-live. Ran test payments and checkout to ensure no blockers. -
Launch Support
Final revision round included minor layout tweaks, mobile responsiveness check, and domain pointing for a smooth DNS handoff.
🔍 Scope Control
We limited this engagement to a lightweight MVP build, avoiding paid apps, advanced customization, and complex back-end integrations. All configurations were made using native Shopify tools to stay within the budget and timeline.
💡 Notes
-
No paid plugins or custom development was involved.
-
The site is now scalable for future enhancements, including OpenAI Co-Pilot or automated workflows, should the client wish to expand.
✅ Outcome
The site went live on time, under budget, and fully functional. SNISHEE now has a clean, manageable Shopify backend and a storefront ready for direct customer engagement.
